Who can attend?
The program is specifically designed for 2nd year fellows, graduating in 2019.
Is there a registration fee for the course?
There is no registration fee for NBLU.
Can my spouse come?
Daily functions are of a business nature and are not suitable for spouses, or children. Only participant expenses will be covered. Any additional fees incurred for non-participants will be the sole responsibility of the participant. This includes: travel, additional room charges, meals, and other incidental expenses. There are 2 social functions your spouse is welcome.
What is covered by the travel grant?
You will receive your travel grant on the final day of the event. This amount should be sufficient to cover your flight, and airport transportation and the few meals not included during the program.
How do I make travel arrangements?
Please make your own airline reservations. It is advised you book the best economy class fare available. Airline reservations should be made soon after you complete your registration. You are required to have confirmed flight arrangements by June 30th at the latest.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the meeting is business casual. Please bring a sweater in case the meeting room is cool.
Do I make hotel arrangements?
We will make your hotel arrangements, room and tax will be taken care of. You will be required to provide a credit card upon check-in to cover all incidental charges you may incur during your stay.
When do I arrive and depart
You are required to arrive and check-in one day prior to the course start. You can depart any time after 12:30pm on the last day of the course.
Can I drive to the meeting?
Yes, you can drive to the meeting if you are local. You will receive a local travel grant. Please be sure to attend all meetings and planned events as partial participation may result in a reduction in the travel grant.
Do I have to stay in the hotel if I am local?
No, but we encourage you to do so as meetings start early and we also have some evening events planned.
Is airport transportation provided?
No, but your travel grant should be sufficient to cover costs incurred to travel to and from the hotel and airport.
