NBLU’s second event built upon the success of our first, incorporating feedback from our fellows who attended in 2016. Over 4 ½ days, an expanded class of nephrology fellows participated in a series of learning modules designed to provide them with the tools and topical knowledge to confidently embrace their nephrology careers ahead.

Our participating faculty and panelists were expanded to include nephrologists from around the country who could bring their unique experiences to our attending fellows. From solo practitioners to large group practices and academia, attending fellows were able to interact with and learn from a diverse group of physicians and industry leaders.

In addition to our expanded faculty, modules were added on such topics as renal friendly cooking, home dialysis, MIPS/MACRA, using social media, and enhanced interview preparation.

Thank you 2017 attending fellows for making this event a wonderful success.

Faculty/Panelists

To provide the very best experience for nephology fellows, the NBLU has brought together a diverse group of industry influencers to share their knowledge of the business of nephrology.

This dedicated group includes nephrology practices from across the country, hospitals and health care organizations, legal and financial services, a dialysis provider and a leading fellowship program who have joined together to serve as faculty members and panelists in order to enhance the fellowship experience.

The mission of the NBLU program is to provide attendees with a stronger understanding of the business of nephrology, and how it fits into the complex and evolving healthcare landscape.

We would like to offer our thanks to our sponsors for their generous support and their commitment to strengthening the nephrology industry.
